Control Unleashed: Reactive to Relaxed by Leslie McDevitt

by Leslie McDevitt

Control Unleashed, by advanced clicker trainer Leslie McDevitt, is designed to help excitable, reactive, anxious, or impulsive dogs to learn how to relax, focus, and work off leash in all kinds of situations. Control Unleashed uses good solid operant conditioning and clicker training. The author is an expert at her chosen behavioral niche, bringing control to those over-the-top dogs. Her thrust is two-pronged--aimed at owners and instructors both, in almost every paragraph.

Helix Fairweather, agility instructor and ClickerExpo faculty member, says: "I fell in love with her gentle, relaxing manner and techniques. Here's the book serious performance trainers, instructors, and competitors have been waiting for."
