Bierfilzl Round Felt Coaster

Graf Lantz traditional Bierfilzl are the highest quality German merino wool felt coasters on the market today. Their clean and minimal execution offers an unexpected textural and refined modern heritage element to any home decor. Our set includes 4 hand-cut heavy duty 5mm thick wool felt coasters to provide extra surface protection from the naturally water-resistant material.

Traditionally used for beer mugs in Bavarian taverns until the late 19th century, felt coasters are functional, durable and sophisticated. Not surprising that to this day Bavarians call coasters of all kinds "bierfilzl" (beer felt). They make a unique, desirable and thoughtful gift for yourself or your family and friends.
